My name is Sierra and I created Book Club Bestie because there’s nothing I love more than—well—books! I once joked that I wish I could just get paid to read, and this feels like I’m going in the right direction. But seriously, I’ve always loved reading books and sharing them with my loved ones, and this felt like the perfect way for me to share my passion with all of you.

I started off this journey doing brand-new books and hand-decorated cookies and soon realized that I wanted to focus more on the books and on my sustainability efforts. I’m proud to offer only hand-selected, thrifted books delivered in recycled packaging.

The last thing I needed to fill my cup was to give back to my community. Books are a crucial component in child development and I believe that all children should have easy access to books. That’s why I donate 5% of all my orders to Bernie’s Book Bank. Bernie’s works to ensure books make their way into the homes of children in underserved communities. It is our responsibility as adults and members of our communities to prioritize the learning and development of all children, both inside and out of our homes.
