My name is Sierra and I created Book Club Bestie because there’s nothing I love more than—well—books! I once joked that I wish I could just get paid to read, and this feels like I’m going in the right direction. But seriously, I’ve always loved reading books and sharing them with my loved ones, and this felt like the perfect way for me to share my passion with all of you.

I got the idea for my Book Club Bestie Subscription Boxes when I quit my corporate job and started working at my partner’s family’s bakery. I started making cookies and eventually began decorating them with my own designs as gifts for my friends. It finally came to me that my love for books and joy of decorating could come together to create a truly magical and personal reading experience for my friends… including you!

The last thing I needed to fill my cup was to give back to my community. Books are a crucial component in child development and I believe that all children should have easy access to books. That’s why I donate 5% of all my orders to Bernie’s Book Bank. Bernie’s works to ensure books make their way into the homes of children in underserved communities. It is our responsibility as adults and members of our communities to prioritize the learning and development of all children, both inside and out of our homes.
